3.5mm ROUND FACETED GORE MOUNTAIN GARNET

GARNET, gem quality. RARE faceted gemstones. Limited quantities. Found at the Barton Mine in North River, Warren County, New York. This garnet, the official New York State stone, is a solid solution of pyrope-almandite-grossularite that results in a pleasant deep reddish material which often has an orange cast.
