NEW YORK GARNET, GEM QUALITY
RARE faceted gemstones. Limited quantities. Found at the Barton Mine in North River, Warren County, New York. This garnet, the official New York State stone, is a solid solution of pyrope-almandite-grossularite that results in a pleasant deep reddish material which often has an orange cast. This is the hardest garnet in the world which is only found at this one location in the Adirondack Mountains in New York State. These beautiful gemstones have been faceted by our company and are available in limited quantities.
